My Cosmos — Privacy Policy

My Cosmos is built so that we could not read your data even if we wanted to.

All data stays on your device. Habits, check-ins, notes and settings are stored locally in an encrypted database. There are no accounts and no cloud. Habit data never leaves your device.

We collect nothing ourselves. No analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking of our own. What the ad SDK collects is described below.

Ads. The app shows non-personalized ads through the Yandex Advertising Network SDK — the app's only network component, a third party operating under its own privacy policy. The SDK never receives your habit data; no tracking consent is given and no location is shared. On iOS the app does not request App Tracking Transparency — because it does not track.

What the ad SDK collects. To show an ad at all, the Yandex SDK collects technical data of its own: the device advertising identifier, IP address and impression data. Yandex processes it under its own privacy policy, not us. Habit data is never part of it.

Notifications are local. Reminders are scheduled on your device and never leave it.

Export is yours. You can export all data to a JSON file at any time and delete everything from within the app.

App stores. If you install the app through the App Store or RuStore, the store processes the download under its own privacy policy. We receive no personal information from it.

Children. The app is not directed at children. We collect nothing from anyone ourselves; the ad SDK technical data described above is collected on every device regardless of the owner's age.

Changes. If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
